so fun fact about me! I actually am a huge kpop stan. But I don't get to talk about it much, since none of my irls are into kpop. sigh. Here I will talk about my favourite groups, silly memes, and my thoughts on releases.

new releases,new piwon hair colours, continuing to watch bp

I continue to watch boys planet!! I'm only on like episode 6 or 7 because the episodes are so DAMN LONG. Not saying thats a bad thing, I love getting to know the members like this but sometimes its exessive.
so far my favourites are Zhang Hao, Ricky, and Matthew who I know all debut. I also really like Keita and Jay but I dont think they debut (based on my memory of the members) which makes me sad :( I hope they debut soon. They are both so talented !!!
Theres so many good performances, even the groups who don't do as well are still pretty okay all things considered.
okay this is random but I have such a deep disliking of Kristian, and I'm glad other people agree. Like in his Limo rap he talks about haters waiting outside to boo him, and I wouldn't go as far to do that, but the man is annoying. Little whiny baby. "please don't take my killing part" LET RICKY HAVE IT IT'S BETTER FOR THE GROUP SILLY
Today I have a very..... interesting evening. (In a bad way). But I was delighted to open twt to see that piwon have changed their hair colours. They all look so cute ^-^ I mean RIP blonde Jeongseob, you will be missed dearly, but also him with the oreo is so cute!! I also love Keeho with the ashy blue-black it suits him very well. def made my day better seeing them.
lets hope that these new hair colours means some new music or other content!! Piwon only releases fire so I'm confident. I'm also SOOOOOOOOOO happy that harmony adventure is coming back, with the crazy stupid editing included. I love watching it lol, some of my favourite moments have came from the show.
as for new releases the one most on my radar is Cosmic by Red Velvet. I'm not a rv stan so I'm not that attached, but its pretty good! I adore the music video. The midsommar refrences are all super cool, and they have the worlds fruitiest sleepover. And OFC all of RV are vocal queens and stunning visuals. Love to see it.

watching boys planet~~

I started watching boys planet yesterday, after I took an interest in some of ZB1's songs. (I fucking LOVE feel the pop man) I'm about half way through the first episode, and its super good already. I watched most of gp999, but simply never finished it. So I'll try to actually finish this show. If I enjoy the show enough maybe I'll look into stanning them. But I also don't like stanning to many groups at a time.
As for new releases, nothing has stood out too me, other than work by ateez. Make that purse girl! Boom Boom Bass also released today, but I will continue to boycott as we wait for seunghan to return!!!
I also tried to buy some albums yesterday, but the store I normally buy them from failed me. I knew that there would be no post bbc loona, but I was hoping for a stray p1harmony album. but there was nothing............. Instead I bought makeup. But thats for the blog lol.

this song. OMFG. its been stuck in my head since it came out, its crazy. I've always listened to XG and thought they were good, but just good. This song is otherworldly, the raps are insane!!! And the visuals this comeback..... girl...... Cocona with the shaved head!!!! MAYA!!!! I AM A LESBIAN!!!!!!!!!!! The music video is so fucking weird, even for kpop. But its still super cool. Have been listening on repeat and will continue to do so.

holy shittt!!! I love all the songs on loop, and I'm so happy that Loona is finally complete again. it makes me emotional, since they were the first group I stanned. I remember forcing my friend to watch the hula hoop video when it came out. :')
I'm glad that yves gets a chance to shine on her own, since she really is an all rounder. The music video is simple since the company is so small, but its so yves. And it dosen't feel cheap, just scaled down perhaps. Even the lil cherry part of loop slaps even if I don't know why its there. And can I say Yves is such a beautiful person. She's so fucking pretty it aint funny. Glad to see whats next for Yves, and so excited to see what the future of Loona looks like :3

artms finally debuted with a full album!!! so worth the wait, I love virtual angel. I think birth is still my favourite track tho, I love how its distinct from other kpop rn. The music video is ... interesting. Don't get me wrong, the girls look stunning, the sets are beautiful, styling is good, but jesus christ. I don't have any photosensitivty/ epilipsy, but if I dead I think I would be dead. The entire video is kinda unwatchable :sob:. I understand the concept of like "Oh you can't look at them they are virtual angels" or whatever but COME ON. I'm glad they released an alt version, and put a warning. But that should have been there in the first place.
like I said before, I'm super happy that loona is finally complete again. As much as I am sad that things have changed, I'm glad they are all still making music, now with companies that will like. Pay them. If your an orbit or not please stream all the diffirent releases from artms, loossemble, chuu, and yves. They are hardworking girls who never give up, and you can tell that they truly love music and being idols. Other wise they would become yoga teachers or actors like other former idols. Or give me money to buy their albums. It is pride month, and I am a queer.
those has been the major releases that I care about. I continue to stream p1h, I think I'm obbsesed. Watching their diffirent interviews and videos before bed has been super fun, they have such natural chemistry. I also love the music, and that they are all involved in the music making process in some way.
I'll try to be more consistent with uploading, since I have to let these demons out somewhere. bye bye paisleynation.

ok yeah I'm stanning p1harmony

I can't stop listening to killin it!!!!!!! I've taken a listen to most of their discography and its SO good. Like obviously they have super strong rappers, but I feel like their singers are under rated! I also enjoy the general group aesthetic and dynamic. I also like that now none of the groups are minors, since I try to stray away from groups with minors out of personal prefrence.
I have yet to like. sit down. and do all the research + video watching I would normally do, but I think they are just so cool. They did the nasty girl trend with the chicago cubs. Based on vibes I think my bias will be Keeho. I am a proud Canadian o7 , hes got a great face card, and hes so fucking funny.
like the clip of him saying "bro who uses snapchat anymore" got me laughing way to hard.
ne wayz, so far siren, falling in love again, and ofc killing it are my favourite.
as for recent releases : OMG WOKE UP BY XG IS SO FUCKING GOOD I'M ASCENDING. the rap skills on this group is on a whole other level for gg's, and the clips I've seen of the music video are so visually stunning.
and just to note I will be boycotting the riizing album when it releases. ESPPECIALLY if they re-record talk saxy. I'm so mad even at the notion of erasing seunghan even more from the group, riize is seven forever.

I think I've caught the boy group disease

So like. idk how to explain this one. But recently I've been a lot more open to listening to some smaller bgs, and getting a lot of bg centred content on my twt n stuff. and like. its good man.
For so long i was only a girl group stan and was convinced I would be forever. and now here i am. I am a proud briize ot7 4eva!!! And I've been listening to alot of p1harmony and I am considering stanning them. I'm going crazy. I understand the appeal
overall I def listen to ggs more in general, since I'm not a big fan of a lot of the bigger boygroups sound. A lot of them incorporate more rap / hiphop, but they always never know how to rap. And they never get the oppurtunity to actually sing. I guess thats why I like riize and p1harmony so much. Riize can sing incredibly well (and also rap!) and p1harmony has such strong rappers its not even funny. They deserve more reconition. Like soul aint fucking around.
uhhh anyways thats it for today ig. I'm going to continue to try to fix this section lmao.
